CHRIS: I am only giving you a recipe for the sauce. You should be able to locate a recipe for the bread pudding in any baking dessert book. If this doesn't do it for you, re-post & I will send you another recipe, as well as a recipe for the bread-pudding if I have to.

1 cup sugar
2 1/4 cups or water (divided)
1 teas cinnamon powder
1 Tbls unsalted butter
1/4 cup of raisins
1/2 teas cornstarch
2 Tbls rum

DIRECTIONS:
Mix 2 cups water with sugar cinn., butter, and raisins; bring to a boil. Just before the boiling point mix the cold 1/4 cup of water with the c'starch, mix in & whisk till mixture thickens about 1 minute. remove from heat, mix in rum.
OPTIONAL: Add 1 teas of vanilla extract as well with rum.Sauce will be thin, If you would like it thicker, reduce water by 1 1/2 Tbls.
If this doesn't do it for you, I will send another easy one to you my friend. Chef Dunask.
