I am looking for a rib recipe that is sold in a lot of Chinese restaurants here in Georgia. On the menu they are listed as barbecued ribs. They are about 1 inch X 1 inch in size and smaller, a dark red color when cooked and they taste as if they are fried. They are very delicious. I have searched the web-site quite extensively for a recipe, but I haven't found anything that reads of a similarity without seeing a picture. The last time I bought some of these ribs I asked the chef about them and he told me he fried them in a wok, and he showed me a pale red marinade he said he used on them. He gave me a cup of the marinade and when I put the ribs in over night they didn't have much of a color to them before cooking. When I put the ribs into the cooking oil right away they seemed to burn, and they never did turn that deep red color of the restaurant. They didn't look anything at all like what I have always seen and eaten. I would like very much to have this recipe from scratch. If anyone can help me I would be most appreciative. Thank You!
