Ok the recipe posted needs (must) use real tomatoes...the first thing we figured out when we got home with the sauce was that it had seeds and peel that had been boiled. The canned tomatoes are way to italian tasting, the real tomatoes are milder. The sauce, by it'self is very chicken brothey tasting, also. Which is something I didn't expect, and it's not all that hot (chili) either. You need the Chicken bullion to get that taste. if it had garlic and onion it was such a small amount that you can't taste it and my wife hates onion...so she could barely taste it if any...so easy on the garlic and onion...It's a very simple sauce though..and not as hot as I would have described after last night...so the next thing, you guys are gonna laugh at...it has lemon...just a little, in it...from a bottle, about a teaspoon...it has a zing to it..that no tomatoe can ever give you...you just have to try it next to the real sauce that isn't mixed with the tacos...it HAS lemon.!! just a bit.
