Just a follow up -- with no ideas here I just did it

I added stout beer to ketchup -- maybe 2 part ketchup to 1 part Guinness beer

I keep in fridge and it is yummy -- could maybe use a bit more beer. But it is runny, as it sits it thinckens back up a bit.
