I have made this cake for a number of people and they seem to never get it right themselves. Give it a try first before you make the cake for hubby.

2 boxes of white cake mix pillsbury or duncan
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 box of cheese cake jello
1 tbl spoon of vanilla extract

make sure cream cheese is room temp and soften well add this to the rest of the cake mix ingredients use a mixer until smooth. bake in a lightly floured long pan/non stick is excellent, bake until golden brown, DONT EVEN TRY TO REMOVE THE CAKE OUT OF THE PAN FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS UNTIL WELL COOLED. THEN TOP IT WITH YOUR FAVORITE ICING, AND FRUIT. I TOP IT WITH COOL WHIP AND FRESH STRAWBERRIES.YUM!
