Jennifer,
I don't know if these taste like the Nature Valley ones but we love them and so do others. I originally posted them as Breakfast Bars as my kids always ate them as breakfast on their way to school.Hope it meets your need. Enjoy! Judy

These are very easy to make bars. They are good for breakfast & also good for work & school as snacks. My family prefer the chewy ones.

BREAKFAST BARS

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup raisins or chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. corn oil

Mix all together. Press into buttered 9x9-inch pan.

Bake at 350F 20 minutes for crunchy bars and 10 minutes for chewy bars.
