Gladys for your response. I tried similiar recipes for Lemon Meringue Pie and had no luck trying to duplicate M.Callender's lemon pie filling. M.Callender's pie filling is firm, almost similiar to 'jello'. I tried a Lemon Pudding pie recipe, it's not the same. M.C.'s pie doesn't weep even after a couple of days in the fridge. And the 'meringue' after a few days is still easily cut - doesn't have a tough sugary coating.
