ISO Vandever's Lemon Chess Pie
Vandever's was a better department store chain that also
ran a resterant on an upper floor in Tulsa, OK. It served a
Lemon Chess Pie that was more custard like than most chess pies. I do not beleive that it had flour or cornmeal in the filling as it was very smooth and silky and nutmeg sprinkled on the top.

I've tried to duplicate it, but, mine never turn out right. My whole family just loved this pie. We certainly would like to be able to have it again.
