CREPES KAHLUA
FOR THE CREPES: 1 1/4 cups flour 2 Tbsp. sugar pinch of salt 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk (dry milk can be substituted) 2 Tbsp. butter, melted FOR THE KAHLUA FILLING: 1/2 cup butter, room temperature 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup macaroon crumbs 1/2 cup Kahlua liqueur TO SERVE: ice cream or whipped cream (optional) additional Kahlua (optional)
PREPARE THE CREPES: Place all ingredients for crepes in blender or mixer and beat well. Let batter stand 1 hour for more perfect crepes.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Butter an oven proof serving tray.
PREPARE THE KAHLUA FILLING: Cream together butter and sugar. Add macaroon crumbs and liqueur. Set aside.
Cook the crepes in a skillet or crepe pan.
Spread 2-3 tsp. filling on each crepe. Place on prepared tray and heat in 300 degree oven till warm.
TO SERVE: Serve with ice cream or whipped cream and additional Kahlua if desired.
