Recipe(tried): Chocolate Chewy Cookies like Publix

I used to be a baker in publix, to make them:

CHOCOLATE CHEWY COOKIES LIKE PUBLIX

We really didn't measure so I'm not sure what measurememnts to give you.

pecans
unsweetened cocoa powder
egg whites
powdered sugar

We put the pecans and cocoa in the mixer and mixed them until the pecans were crushed, slowly added egg whites and powdered sugar. You don't want them to be "fully mixed" you want them to be a little chunky-ish.

We also added white chocolate chips, peanut butter bits, M&M's.

Then you bake them until they are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside but not "doughy", they need to be cooked on the inside as well. Open the oven every once in a while to check them. I think we usually had the ovens on 375 degrees F and cooked them like 10-15 minutes but CHECK them. You'll have to do it until you find the way you liked them.
