Moolatte is an iced ice cream coffee drink found at Dairy Queen.
Here are two recipes I have made in the past and they are both pretty good. I prefer the lighter coffee flavor so I use vanilla (or chocolate) ice cream.
Like Mochalatte 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled (use half the required water when making the coffee) 1 cup vanilla or coffee flavored ice cream 1/2 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup Whipping cream
Combine all ingredients in a blender, blending until smooth.
Pour over ice in two 16 ounce glasses, and top with whipped cream.
Makes 2 drinks.
Iced Mocha Shake
1 Cup strong brewed coffee, chilled (use half the water when making coffee) 1 Cup vanilla or coffee ice cream 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 Cup milk Sugar to taste Whipping cream
In blender, blend coffee, ice cream, cocoa powder, milk and sugar until mixture is smooth. Pour mixture into chilled glasses.
Top with whipped cream.
Makes about 2 large drinks.
Note: A co-worker loves coffee so she only uses coffee ice cream and adds 1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granuals to the Iced Mocha Shake recipe. I find this coffee flavor overkill!
