3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated 8 oz cream cheese, cut into bits 1/2 cup butter or margerine 1/2 cup milk 8 oz fettucine, cooked, drained
In large saucepan combine cream cheese, parmesan, butter and milk , stirring constantly until smooth. Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well. Leftovers freeze well.

Cindy posted, I add: 1/4 tsp. onion powder and 1/4 tsp. garlic salt (or powder - if preferred). Note the menu at the Olive Garden specifies that their alfredo has a "hint of garlic".
