My father used to own a cock of the walk so I have access to the actual recipe. I really wish I could post it here but it's illegal for us to do so even after paying their franchise rights. What it is not illegal for me to do is point you all in the right direction. The first recipe that was posted is not even close. The "real deal" recipe is closer but has added 4 ingredients that do not belong, and is missing only 2 ingredients. One of the ingedients has been substituted also, oh, and marination of the cabbage is not necessary, the other indredients soften it overnight. The other ingredients you should weed out are obvious as they do not belong there, they belong on muffins and hot dogs. I think that's enough for everyone to be able to figure a VERY close recipe for this wonderful slaw. Sorry to be cryptic, but they are a small franchise and would most likely take action if the actual recipe got out. good luck.
