I emailed Dean and Deluca and they put me in touch with the chef for the location i had this at and he gave me this recipe and it was exactly like what I remembered, best with pita bread for dipping.

DEAN AND DELUCA SPICY LOBSTER DIP

1 tbsp dry mustard
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tbsp minced or dried parsley
1/3 cup Chablis
1 tbsp chile sauce*
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard
1/2 bunch green onions, 1/4-inch sliced
1/2 red bell pepper, diced
1/2 lb minced lobster**
1 1/2 lbs cream cheese, softened

Mix dry ingredients. Add in wet ingredients. Add onions, pepper, and lobster. Mix all into cream cheese.

*The chile sauce he told me about was what he called sambal chile sauce but I couldn't find that I bought this stuff that was in a clear bottle with a green lid with a picture of a chicken on it. and it worked fine. If you like it a little more spicy use more chili sauce.

**I used imitation lobster and put it in a food processor with some lemon juice to mince it.
