I've never had the IHOP Croissants so I don't know if they have a baked on glaze or one brushed on after baking. You can omit the lemon peel or maybe substitute orange peel for a tasty variation. After topping the rolls, before the glaze has set, you can sprinkle the tops with toasted sliced almonds or mini chocolate chips.
