Mellissa, your recipe looks good and I am sure it is darn close... May I suggest adding fresh Rosemary. Not only does the Jack Shrimp website picture show Roasemary, but I distinctly remember Rosemary being in Jack's special sauce.

I used to go to the Laguna Beach JS at least twice weekly, and then once weekly to the Aliso JS when the Laguna Beach JS closed. Personaly my favorite was the Jammin' Jambalaya and since moving to the central coast I have been trying to find a close match to Jack's special sauce. I am going to try the recipe you posted with Rosemary added.
