Thank you for this recipe. I had this at Carrabas and loved it and wanted to replicate it at home. I went searching and found this recipe and was very happy with the results. I don't use cavatappi pasta because it was hard for me to find, so I just use the regular corkscrew whole wheat pasta and it is wonderful. I know that carrabas has pancetta in it, which I used the first time. The pancetta I bought at my deli was more greasy than meaty so I decided to substitute a low sodium ham that I cut into small chunks. It is wonderful. In fact, I'm about to make some of this for dinner tonight. Yummy! Thanks again.
