HOMEMADE CRACKER JACKS

8 cups plain popped corn
1/2 cup peanuts
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup molasses
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line shallow 9X13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In large bowl, combine popped corn, nuts and seeds.

In small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, molasses, oil, sugar, vinegar and salt, stirring often, until sugar is dissolved and mixture thickens. Pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat completely.

Spread in prepared pan and bake 18 minutes or until dry and crispy. Remove and let cool before serving.

VARIATION:

POPCORN BALLS:

To make popcorn balls, bake only 15 minutes, remove, let cool slightly. While still warm, moisten hands and shape into balls. Cool completely and serve or wrap individually in plastic wrap for up to 3 days.

Makes 8 cups
