I can't eat alfredo out any where now since I have made from scratch a fabulous Alfredo sauce that everyone has ever had fell in love with it.
I buy: Big Carton Heavy Whipping Cream or small if your making a dip instead of sauce for fettucinni. 1-2 Tb minced Garlic Powder Parmesan Grated Parmesan Butter can use fat free parkay spray tastes same Garlic Salt Basil dried or fresh couple dashes Pepper.
Fill bottom of a sauce pan with Whipping Cream over medium heat. Add butter and minced garlic,garlic salt couple dashes and pepper bring to boil. Once its boiling add powder parmesan stir till disolved then add your noodles or if making dip add little dash of basil and half a handfull of Grated Parmesan.
I promise you will love this. I make it for fettucinni and add sauteed shrimp,mushrooms,green onions,bell pepper. Throw in a little cayenne to make it spicy.
