Hello,

I have been trying to track down the recipe for the vegetable sauce that Kobe Steaks in Dallas (Addison) makes. I have searched Google for Tonkatsu or for Japanese Ketchup and tried a simple recipe.

The one I tried is :

1/2 Cup Ketchup
2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Worchestershire Sauce

I blended it together and wow the smell was off the chart. Too much Worchester I think. The color was proper which confirms the fact that it likely is a tomato base. As for the other ingredients I am not sure.

It is supposed to be a dipping sauce that does not smell that potent and it has a moderate thickness. I would love to hear from any who have actually tried it at the restaurant and have ideas as to what it might be.

Thanks

Beaker
