My 80 year old mother insisted she knew the recipe to Swenson's hamburgers. I tried it.. and it's as close as I've ever gotten.

- Powdered sugar mixed in with the ground beef with a bit of garlic salt. (sorry.. no amounts.. remember this is coming from an 80 year old woman that uses "handfuls, a tad and a touch" as measuring tools.
- Velveta cheese (cut not those slices)
- a toasted bun, slices of onions, a few pickles and mustard.
