ya'll are wrong about the recipe altogether. salsa is not the answer. you start with double boiler. you melt butter in double boiler, jsut enough to saute' diced yellow onions, diced canned jalapenos and diced tomatoes with granulated garlic. when the onions get soft you then add velveeta. once you have melted all of velveeta then you add sour cream, mix well and then it is done. this adding salsa business is bunk. you can speed up the process by sauteing the veggies in a skillet and heating the velveeta in a microwave, but the key as with all cooking is the mix of the resins of the recipe components.
