I, too, have been seeking The Diner's on St. Clair's White Crab Chili recipe for years. It remains my all-time favorite soup/chili dish. I even wrote Ann Heller (Dayton Daily News food critic at the time) to see if she knew where I could get the recipe, but never heard from her.
Have you tried either of the recipes posted, or found the recipe from The Diner? I'd like to know.
