Thanks to John!! We loved the taste of your recipe, but we wanted to solve the texture issue as well. Here is what we have come up with.

PIZZA HUT CREAMY ITALIAN DRESSING
(copycat recipe)

In food processor blend together:
2 cups oil (soybean, vegetable or canola)
1 cup Hidden Valley Ranch bottled Dressing
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 packet Good Season's Zesty Italian dry mix
Then add and blend again:
1/2 teaspoon Xanthan Gum (available in Organic sections or at Whole Foods)

This is identical in taste and texture. Enjoy
