Made a delicious chopped salad for company using all of the ingredients that Portillo's does in theirs. Mixed lettuce, Gorgonzola cheese, bacon, ditalini, chopped onions, chopped cabbage, diced tomatoes.

There is a brand of dressing at Aldi's, "House Dressing," made by Grandessa. It is an identical taste to that of Portillo's. The only difference is that it isn't creamy looking like Portillo's. It contains: cider vinegar, canola/corn oil, sugar, mustard, whole garlic, spices, algin (a natural gum).

So, I poured a small amount in my blender, then streamed in the rest to emulsify. Perfect! My guests raved about it being identical to Portillo's, and nothing was left.
