I have read all of Diane's books at least twice, and have tried many of her recipes. They are all fabulous! memorial Day we had the eggs and cheese torta; it's supposed to be mexican with chiles and salsa, but I did crispy bacon instead, and it was de-licious! She must be a good cook as well as a great writer. And I have nothing but respect for Goldy: anyone who could fight the Jerk, raise a teen, solve crimes, battle the Rocky Mt weather, and come out on top, using only espresso as fuel...she's my hero!
