we chinese eat lots of babycorns so i can give a hint or two of how it is done the asian way. you should get rid of the little green husk (if the ones you got have them on.) then wash them thoroughly and drain well. then you may slice them diagnally into not-too-small diamond shapes. stir-fry them with other "chrunchy" vegetables, ie, carrots and broccoli. and meat or seafood if you like.
i don't know how to prepare it in the salad (western method). sorry.
