I think we'll just jam with our next-door neighbors. I like some of the ideas I've seen lately, like the bbq'd leg of lamb + Italian tomato salad. I have a neat recipe for a white-chocolate "frosted" cheesecake which I haven't made for a while, and will probably do so.

Where we live, our kids are in year-round school, so our daughter's been in school since July. So it seems like a short summer to us anyway . . .
