Get a large red (strawberry or raspberry) jello & a large blueberry one, and make each according to package directions, except pour the red jello into a 9 x 13 pan and chill til firm.

Mix 8 oz. pkg. of cream cheese (softened) with 8 oz sour cream; blend in 1/4 C. powdered sugar if you want a sweeter cream layer. (I think the tartness of the sour cream + cream cheese is a good contrast to the sweetness of the jellos.)

Spread the cream filling over the red jello; chill for at least a 1/2 hour to firm up the filling. *CAREFULLY* spoon the blue (still liquified) jello over the cream filling and chill til firm.

If you want to jazz it up a bit, reserve about 1/2 cup of the cream filling instead of spreading it all over the red layer, and use the extra to top the blue jello after it's firm. Sprinkle on sliced almonds, or perhaps sliced strawberries for flag stripes & blueberries in a square for the stars' background.
