The first time I used the foil meals for camping was about 15 years ago. We went on a river-rafting and kayaking trip down a river. There was no other way into where we camped except by raft or kayak. You put your whole meal into the foil and season. Best to double wrap with foil so will not burn food. Try one pork chop or chicken breast with cut up onions, potatoes, carrots, bell peppers and seasonings you like. You can also use stew meat. They now have the foil bags at store so you can even use jiffy mix brownies-muffins etc over coals, but you need to double-wrap with heavy duty foil also. Scrambled eggs the same. Can freeze before you go. Actually I scramble first and add bacon bits and seasonings and freeze. Already cooked and need only warm thru. Do not forget double-wrapping everything. If coals are too hot the food will burn. Have fun-Sam
