Hey, a friend and I decided to try this and started pouring in smirnoff shot by shot (via a turkey baster) into a 20lb. watermelon. Last night we got in 8 shots and this morning it soaked up the 9th pretty fast. Right now it's taking its time with the 10th and we're just going to see how much we can get in there over the next few days. The "cork" we cut out of the watermelon is a triangle with sides of about 1/2 inch. We also stuck a chopstick down the opening a few times to make some small holes. And we're keeping it refigerated while it's not... drinking.

Oh yeah, each "shot" is actually 1.5 oz.
