I use brown sugar as you will see- omit and use honey but you may want 1/8-1/4 c. depending on how sweet you wish. My DH is diabetic so I use very little. * Exported from MasterCook * BREAD MACHINE WHEAT BREAD Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups warm water -- 95-110 degrees 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons butter -- melted 2 cups bread flour 2 cups wheat flour 1/4 cup gluten 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup powdered milk 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons) Add to bread machine according to machine directions. Follow machine directions for baking. ** I mke mine on dough cycle then take out and form into a big rounded loaf- let rise and top with seed mixture and bake on stone in oven. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : * I NEVER COOK MY BREAD IN THE MACHINE. I SET THE MACHINE ON THE DOUGH SETTING. WHEN THAT IS COMPLETE I TAKE THE DOUGH OUT- SHAPE INTO ROLLS, LONG SKINNY LOAVES OR A BIG ROUND LOAF. LET RISE AGAIN. THEN BAKE ON 400 DEGREES TIL BROWN.
