This is what we used to call Blondies
1/2 cup melted butter 2 cups dark-brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease (or spray with vegetable spray) at 13- x 9- baking pan. Mix the ingredients together thoroughly, Spread evenly in the baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until dry on top and nearly firm to the touch. Let cool 10-15 minutes before cutting into 36 pieces.
