Okay, here it is! As I said, I don't know if this is the "Tiger Bars" recipe or not, but here's hoping that it is! I have not tried this recipe, but who doesn't trust Mr. Food? The following recipe is from the book entitled, "Mr. Food Simply Chocolate," by Art Ginsburg (AKA Mr. Food).Banana Chocolate Swirl Cake

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips, meltedPreheat the oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, cream the sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat thoroughly. Slowly blend in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat in the mashed bananas and the vanilla until well mixed. Pour half the batter into a 7" x 11" baking pan that has been coated with nonstick baking spray. Pour half of the melted chocolate over the batter. Pour on the remaining batter, then the remaining chocolate. With a knife, swirl the chocolate through the batter. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool, then cut into squares.

Yield: 9 to 12 servings
