hey Jojo! Hope you are having a good 4th weekend. Re., your sugar cookie question...I would: chill dough so that it doesn't spread, bake as fast,OR, underbake slightly, OR, add approx. 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar (will raise the cookie slightly making it thicker)

I have some other ideas, but not knowing the recipe, it's kinda hard to say...sometimes substituting butter for margarine (butter tends to spread faster) or even shortening, or half and half...you get the idea...but I would start by underbaking slightly and adding the cream of tartar.
