I am looking for someone to help me find a true Southern pound cake recipe. As a child I recall having pound cake that was the best I had ever had. It had a a kind of crunchy crust. The golden brown portion of the cake was crunchy and the inside was moist. Does anyone know how this might work? I have not begun experimenting yet so I am open for suggestions.
