This recipe come from the Duncan Hines "Bakeshop in a Book" that I have had for many years. I have not tried this, however, anything from the book that I have tried has been very good.

SOUR CREAM GOLDEN VANILLA CHEESECAKE

l Pkg. Duncan Hines Pudding Recipe Golden Vannilla Cake Mix
3 eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. Crisco or Puritan oil
16 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling (or topping of your choice)

Preheat oven to 300*. Measure out 1 1/2 cups dry cake mix; set aside. Stir together remaining dry cake mix, 1 egg, flour, and oil in a large bowl. Press this crumb mixture evenly into bottom and 3/4 way up sides of 13x9" pan.

Blend sour cream, sugar, 2 eggs, vanilla and reserved cake mix in same bowl, 1 min. at low speed. Gradually add milk while beating about 2 minujtes at med. speed. Pour into crumb crust and bake at 300* for 45-55 minutes, or until center if firm. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
