Just yesterday I found this excellent sounding brownie mix recipe thanks to leeza who posted this on the "Tried and True/Heirloom Recipes" of the Kitchen Link on June 29, 1998. I plan to make it this weekend.
1 21 1/2 oz pkg brownie mix 1 cup (NOT ONE CAN) cherry pie filling 1/4 c veg oil 1 egg 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 13 x 9" pan with cookiing spray and flour it. In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, cherry pie filling, oil and egg. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, spread when melted.
