I ve started in decorating wedding cakes for people and I ve run into problems with trying to get the frosting completely smooth like all the pictures I see. I ve did what books say by holding the spatula upright against the cake and slowy turning it to achieve this effect but it hasn't worked. can you give me some helpful hints? Is my frosting not the right consistancy?
