FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CAKE
2 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder 2 c. sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 1 c. hot coffee or hot water 1 c. milk 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Sift together dry ingredients in a bowl. Add oil, coffee (or water) and milk. Mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla and beat 2 more minutes. Pour into two greased and floured 9 inch cake pans (or 3 8-inch pans) Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
This cake is pretty chocolatey, but I think you could add another 1/4 c. cocoa to intensify the chocolate flavor. Good luck! I think you'll like this.
