No, chat is not necessarily better, but it is real time which means that we can talk like on the phone. No waiting to see what the other posted. That's all I meant. I love the boards better than chat. But I came on right at the time chat ended here and I never got to experience it. Chatting can be fun but it also can be addicting. When I first learned about the internet I would stay up WAY past my bedtime to chat to people far far away because it fascinated me so much to be able to. I only would like to ask questions that we can't talk about here, like what area people live in, family info, you know, like friends do when they first meet. But from what I have seen of you and many other people like Peggy and Beverly and so many others, is all I need to know you are all good at heart people. And that is my kind of people to be around. Someone once gave my an envelope anonymously with $100 in it when I was teaching. On the outside it said "The good you do comes back to you in this and other ways..." Well I pass this on to all who come to the kitchen link.
