BASIC WHITE BREAD 1 Pkg. active dry yeast 1-1/2 c warm water,divided(110to115*F.) 4 c flour 1/3 c dry milk 2 Tbsp oil 1 Tbsp sugar 2 Tsp salt In small bowl add yeast to 1/4 c of the warm water. Stir and allow to dissolve, about 3 to 5 minutes. Place Blade in Bowl. Process flour, dry milk, oil, sugar and salt until mixed, about 5 seconds. With processor running add yeast mixture through feed tube. Slowly add enough water through feed tube to make dough begin to stick together and form ball, about 40 seconds. Stop motor. Turn dough out onto floured surface and knead by hand about 8 turns. This will make a finer textured dough. Place in greased bowl turning to coat entire surface. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 1-1/2 hours. Punch dough down, shape into loaf shape. Place in oiled 8-1/2x4-1/2x2-1/2-inch loaf pan. Brush with oil. Let rise in warm place until doubled 30 to 45 minutes. Bake in preheated 375*F.oven 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from pan. Brush with oil or butter. Cool on wire rack. Makes 1 loaf. Bon Appetit!
