I think I found this in the Women's World magazine last year, Mar. 97. I served it to the adults and the bunny cake for the kids. :-)
Cherry Berries (preparation time overnight & next day. Chill for 4 hours)
Beat 6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
Add 1 3/4 c. sugar
Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar to soft peaks. Slowly beat in the sugar as in a meringue.
Bake in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 275 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and let this cool in the oven overnight.
Next Day:
2 pkg. (3oz. ea) of cream cheese
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. whipping cream (whipped, could use whipped dairy topping)
2 C. mini-marshmallows
Beat the softened cream cheese. Slowly beat in the sugar and vanilla. Fold in the whipped cream and mini marshmallows
Spread on the pre-baked meringue crust.
Chill 4 hours.
Cut into 16 pieces and serve with topping.
Mix together:
1 C. cherry pie filling
2 C. sliced frozen strawberries
1 tsp. lemon juice
