I purchased these at a craft show on saturday. They are the BEST!
Oatmeal Peanut Butter M & M Cookies in a Jar

Layer as follows in a wide mouth quart jar:

2 c. oatmeal-not quick oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. baking M & M's
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c. mini choc chips

For a xmas gift place a pretty xmas pring over top of jar and tie a nice bow around the jar!

Baking Instructions!!!!
Creams together:
1/4 c. butter or marg.
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla

Slowly add dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon into one inch balls on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 for 11 to 12 minutes. Let stand for a minute or two. Remove from cookie sheet and cool. Makes 3 to 4 dozen!

These cookies were as good 3 days later as the day I baked them. A real keeper at our house!
