Well, yes everyone...I'm coming out of the closet...or should I say pantry! with the truth..... yes, a true confession.........my bagels are just as hard as hockey pucks and could probably be used as such! I have two problems ...one is that when the ropes of dough are joined together, they just don't seem to stick. Second, I finish them off by baking them but they're......well how shall I put it.......chewy is too nice a word for them.... anyway you get the picture! I'd love to have a tried and true recipe and some advice...........oh yes, I still use the scratch way of baking bread, etc. rather than a bread machine...so I'd probably need traditional bread making directions!
