Lea Anne,Fran and Shirl- Thanks for all the bread machine, flour, water and gluten info. I have printed it all and will try every thing you suggested. I made a loaf today and threw out the yeast in the package and used fresh, bread machine yeast. I added an extra tsp. of yeast. It rose and adhered to the lid of the machine and when the bake cycle was done and I lifted the lid it tore a big chunk out of the top. I make bread to give away to new folks in town, therefore it needs to look good and taste good. Do any of you have a never-fail 100% goof-proof recipe? I really need help. |
