My machine has no settings. No light crust, no french, or wheat or any other setting. You just put in the ingredients and turn it on. It does say you can open the lid during the first 15 minutes. How do I know when it's ready to coat the top of the loaf with choice of toppings? I did find a temperature probe yesterday that goes from zero to two-hundred and twenty degrees. So with the temp. probe and your recipe I am excited to get started. Please reply on the time element for oiling as it may keep it from sticking to the lid. Do you think, "The Bread Machine Baker", would be available in any book store?
Thanks so much for all your help. I just may get this thing perfected yet.
