Here is the name and the details for The Swedish Bakery: 5348 N. Clark St.
(Near Foster & Clark) in Chicago Phone # is 1-773-561-8919. The area is
called Andersonville. It is not as Swedish as it once was, but there are a few
restaurants and deli's still there. We like Wikstrom's (Deli) and Ann Sathers
has a few Swedish dishes on the menu. There is also a Swedish-American Museum
& gift shop.

I'm sure if you called them they could help you. May I also recommend a woman
by the name of Beatrice Ojakangas. She is Finnish but she writes cookbooks
covering all the Scandinavian cuisines. I think that she has a baking cookbook
out.

I hope that this helps as I know your mother would enjoy her coffee & "toast".
These little things in life mean so much.
In the meantime,I will try to look through my Swedish recipes for you.
"Var sa god!!"
