I agree with Shirl. Separated eggs and possibly a few extra egg whites should lighten the texture. You may want to reduce the amount of sugar if you put in less cream cheese. My favourite and most popular recipe is very dense, but I have a lighter one that I used to make if you would like. As Shirl said, there are MANY cheesecake recipes in the archives as we have had many cheesecake discussions in the past! Hope this helps.
