Honey Oat Bread(Sue Bee Honey)

1 cup warm water
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup raw oatmeal(quick or regular)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

Instructions: You can replace up to two cups of the white flour with whole
wheat flour and add one tbsp gluten(I haven't tried this variation so can't
vouch for it).

Add ingredients in the order recommended by machine's manufacturer. In the
Breadman, I put the warm water, honey, salt, and oil in first, then add the
oatmeal and flour, making a small well in the top for the yeast. Set for
basic, light, or regular crust(on my Breadman it is setting #1). This makes a
1 1/2 lb loaf(but rises very high so you have to have a 2 lb machine to hold
it. It doesn't rise much until the last hour, so don't worry -- it has what
they call a big "oven spring."
